Pew Research: Voters’ Views on 2024 Election Integrity

Shortly after the recent presidential election, between November 12th and 17th, the Pew Research Center conducted a survey on election integrity. Pew asked nearly 10,000 American adults if the election process was run and administered well. Respondents from both sides of the political divide gave their opinions.

A similar survey was done following the 2020 election. Although, members of both parties felt the elections were run better when their candidate won, one party was far more skeptical when they lost. To be clear these numbers are reflective of the process not the outcome.

Republicans, by a very wide margin, felt the vote was counted more accurately and the election was run better in 2024.

  • 2020—21% Satisfied
  • 2024—93% Satisfied

Democrats, on the other hand felt that the 2020 election was better run, but only slightly.

  • 2020—94% Satisfied
  • 2024—84% Satisfied

All Voters, regardless of party:

  • 2020—59% Satisfied
  • 2024—88% Satisfied
