What better place for a senior citizen to wander around at 2 o’clock on Tuesday afternoon? Fill up on free samples or even get a giant hot dog and a soda for $1.50. Life is good when you know how to live it! The giant retailer is expanding.
Costco, the popular wholesale membership company, operates over 600 locations across the United States. Their stores can be found in 47 states and Washington D.C. The only three states that do not have a Costco are Rhode Island, West Virginia, and Wyoming. California is home to the most locations with 140, followed by Texas with 43.
The Company has announced plans to open six new stores in early 2025, all scheduled for March grand openings. If you live in one of the 3 states still waiting for the first Costco. Sorry, you will have to wait a bit longer. For Cali and Texas, the rich get richer.

Costco has 2 membership levels. Gold Star the standard membership which give you access to the store and services runs $65. annually. The Executive membership at $130. per year offers 2% annual reward on most purchases.
